Q-4 Update

Soooo… All of you are asking, “WHAT HAPPENED?” Well, I’m going to tell you now, it’s not about what happened, it’s about what’s happening! God is Good! I left the convention center on October 1, 2010 and ventured off into starting my own company; A Destination and Event Management company. I was with the convention center for nearly 5 years, I put my heart and soul into that place as ya’ll well know. Well, the amount of energy, experience and determination I’ve put into the convention center, and brought it to the level it is at today, what can I do for my own company. So, when it came time to leave, I didn’t look back, I didn’t look elsewhere, I decided, “Lets do this!” October 4th, 2010 Cherokee Street, LLC was created. In 21 days, 57 fans, and rising by the day. Can you imagine that? Man, it took me 4 years to get 50 friends on myspace! I’m in awe. I’m giving it all to God. I’ve received my Federal Tax ID #, my state ID #, my certification from the public relations commission, bank accounts, quickbooks, and the money IS moving! Keep an eye out for good things coming out of this company, and what we’re going to do to this city. I have decided to take my experience, education, my abilities, and my passion for the city of Albuquerque, and let it work for me, instead of working for someone else.

Lets see, what else is going on. What’s happening at the convention center, well, look it up, I’m they’re gonna keep on doing what they’re doing. As for my house, it’s great!; Still standing. Iris got a promotion! 6 months on the job, and she’s already running the place. Savannah, well she’s “Deputy Jefe Jener├íl” over at there at her bank. (like my Spanish, huh?? I’m pickin’ it up =o) Scooter, same, he’s doing awesome. He’s actually started a little side beef jerky business, man, it is so good, people buy it up left and right! I even started selling it for him, and I can barely keep stock Not just the plain stuff, his red/green chile mix is a huge hit! Jason, he’s been with Costco for almost 15 years. He’s doing great. Kids are all awesome. I’ll be headed out to LA the Day after thanksgiving. I think that’s it for right about now. I’ll keep you posted as I go. Keep an eye on the Facebook Page, for all the future updates! Hope you can be apart of it!

Take care!
