The May Update, Tractors Slot Machines, and the Lovelife!

Well, in the grand tradition of blogging, I might as well give ya'll an update. I'm sure some of ya'll heard about my Grandpa's tractor accident. Off the bat, he's doing fine now, with all for limbs attached. It was touch and go for a minute there, but at the end of the day, his "luck" truly paid off. We all know he's the luckiest man alive, and if there were ever proof of it, seeing what we saw last Wednesday was all the proof we needed.

For those of you who don't know, My grandpa was attempting to remove one of the implements from the tractor when his arm got caught between a support bar and the apparatus; and came within less of inch of severing his arm, completely. It took folks from the Isleta EMS, Fire Dept, and other Tribal workers to come out and free him up, and get him to UNMH. My grandpa says the yard was just full of cars and people by the time he was freed up and taken to the ambulance. To hear him tell the story, with all the dramatics, trauma, and bravery will bring a tear to your eye, but then again, he's tough. At 86, he's a tough old man. All he lost as a chunk of muscle and skin, but other wise doing well, and resting comfortably in front of a slot machine as I type. (I just talked to Grandma, she just took him to the casino =o)

As for me, other than a horrible dating life, I'm doing just dandy. I'm always busy at work. Those of you who call me, you always find me here. I had 3 days off this past weekend, and I spent one of them here at work. I did get some Guitar Hero in over the weekend at my brother's house though. As for work; I have a countdown clock on my computer here, it currently reads : 40 Days 13 Hours 40 Minutes 37 Seconds before Bowling is finally over.

The Family is doing great, my brother got remarried to a wonderful girl, My mom got divorced, and now recently met a really nice guy. He seems cool to me; has his own money, his own house, and his own stuff. Someone I see not "mooching" off of her. I don't know what I would do if I had someone like that. I think she lucked out. My 2 sister in laws are now pregnant, so we will be adding to the Christmas list this year.

The house is doing great. (That's the biggest question I get). I haven't done much with it, as I haven't been home, however, I do have a goal is painting the living room sometime soon. Just need to decide on the paint.

Anyway, I think that'll be it for now, I've burned up enough company time on this. =o) Ya'll take care, swing by and say Hi! I know I'm always busy, but I do enjoy it, and I count my self lucky to have friends that do. Still at the Convention Center, July 5th will be a 2 year mark (unbelievable huh?).

Ya'll take care.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

(Just wanted to throw that out there! Yes, I still have somewhat of a sound mind, although debatable at times. =o)
