Dear Michael,

I'd like to invite you to be part of the delegation from Albuquerque who will visit our city's namesake submarine, the USS ALBUQUERQUE, for a VIP Cruise in May--a very unique trip and a special opportunity. As you may know, the Chamber has a very strong relationship with the crew of our city's namesake submarine, the USS ALBUQUERQUE. The crew has just confirmed for us a VIP cruise which will take place on May 21, 2007 out of Port Canaveral, FL. The VIP cruise is a day-long event that involves actual time at sea in the submarine with the crew—an experience not many of us have had.

I've listed the details, as they are available, below. More will follow. . Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Beverly

Sunday, Fly out of Albuquerque to Port Canaveral, FL. via Orlando International Airport (airport is 40 miles from recommended hotel)

Monday, VIP cruise (all day). Cruise will begin first thing in the morning although no specific time is available currently.

Tuesday, Fly back to Albuquerque.

The Hard Hat Posted: Friday, April 06, 2007

The Hard Hat
Current mood: dorky

Ok, So everybody's wondering what the hard hat is for...

No, I'm not looking to audition for the village people (scott, Jessica, VJ, Dee...) Although I know you all think I look damn handsome in that picture, that picture is from the class I'm currently taking.
I'm in class at the Albuquerque fire Academy for The City's Emergency Response Team.

I'm learning Incident Management / Disaster Management, HAZMAT, Search and Rescue Fire Suppression, all the first responder type stuff.

Anyway, hope that satisfies ya'lls curiosity. Thanks for all the comments and emails and what not. They were all hilarious. I thought I'd shake ya'll up by putting that out there. =o)

Ya'll take care, and Happy Easter!
